Scott Abbott – CEO
Scott is a respected entrepreneur from Utah that has led several companies from their growth stage to exit. Most notably was co-founding Five Star Painting, one of America’s largest painting franchise systems, taking it to over 100 locations in four countries, culminating with the sale of Five Star Painting to The Dwyer Group, one of the world’s most respected franchisors in the service industry. During his role as CEO, Five Star Franchising received numerous franchise and business awards and was named the 15th fastest growing company in Utah Valley by Utah Valley BusinessQ, while Five Star Painting ranked No. 7 among top 50 franchise opportunities with 50-99 locations for 2013 by Franchise Business Review. Scott earned a Master of Business Administration from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in management from the University of Manitoba. Scott has been recognized personally with several awards for his entrepreneurship, being named to the Utah Business Forty Under 40, and receiving recognition as Innovator of the Year and Entrepreneur of the Year while in Canada. Today Mr. Abbott is leading ProNexis to become a fully integrated business solution for service based businesses.
Shane MacKay – Chief Technology Officer
Shane oversees the day-to-day technological operations of ProNexis and ensures company goals are met through the implementation of cutting-edge technology. As the Chief Technology Officer, Shane is constantly making improvements to increase the efficiency of technological systems for all of Five Star’s brands. Leading the development and launch of Five Star Painting’s top-notch client management software “CORE” in 2012, Shane and his team continue to enhance the proprietary estimating and lead-tracking software with the recent development of “CORE 2.0.” and the upcoming “Modular CORE.”
Jason Miller – Vice President of Business Development
As Vice President of Business Development, Jason is tasked with growing the ProNexis brand across several target markets, including small mom and pop shops, large franchise companies, and even enterprise organizations. Jason works to assist companies with lead automation, improving revenue, and increasing business intelligence through the implementation of the ProNexis system. He is a strong believer in building trust and rapport with all his clients.
Jason comes to ProNexis with ten years of sales and marketing experience, specifically in the franchise industry. He spent a good portion of his career with a large franchise coaching and consulting firm where he assisted hundreds of franchise companies in growing their brands. Jason is a Certified Franchise Executive, has written several articles on franchising, and has been a featured speaker on entrepreneurship at major universities such as UCONN and the Wharton School at UPENN. He graduated with a degree in Interactive Marketing from Western Connecticut State University and also has his Franchise Management Certificate from the prestigious Georgetown University.
Raymond Petrulsky – Director of Operations
As Director of Operations, Raymond focuses on building value by creating reliable operational processes that ensure franchisees are first in their class. Driven by results, Raymond maximizes ROI for franchise owners through ProNexis. With 25 years of experience in call center operations, Raymond directs ProNexis’s technology based Sales Support Center, continually analyzing, implementing and improving processes to boost inside sales metrics. His depth and breadth of knowledge in call center operational strategies, capacity planning, human resources and advanced technical expertise has made him one of the top professionals in the call center industry.
Jeremiah Olsen – VP of Sales
As the VP of sales Jeremiah oversees the sales process as well as the marketing vision for the company. It’s his job to see that Pronexis’ unique solutions are known to every corner of the market. By increasing visibility, brand perception, and market reach, Jeremiah and his marketing team hope to ensure that all customers and potential customers see the unique and performance-driven vision and solutions of ProNexis.
Jeremiah enjoys short walks on the beach due to his stubby legs, virgin mimosas, and yelling at inanimate objects for fun. He grew up in northern Utah, where these kinds of things are the social norm.
Lawrence Whipple – Director of Online Marketing
Lawrence oversees the digital marketing operations of ProNexis and it’s clients. Lawrence works to ensure company goals are met through the development and implementation of proper digital marketing strategies. He is constantly making improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of ProNexis’s Digital Marketing practices and processes for all brands and clients.
As Digital Marketing Director, it’s Lawrence’s job to think like the major search engines and most importantly, our clients customers, to ensure the best user experience with, and performance of ProNexis’s client’s digital marketing mediums. Lawrence has successfully provided franchise owners with the technological foundation and digital marketing strategies to achieve the best results.
With over 8 years of digital marketing experience, and a successful track record in some of the most competitive industries, Lawrence has a refined, solid approach to long-term digital marketing success.
Scott Hunter – Senior Project Manager
As the Senior Project Manager at ProNexis, Scott coordinates projects that range from system optimization to creating industry-revolutionizing new features in the ProNexis Solution. His primary responsibility is leveraging ProNexis’ highly-skilled code ninjas to create intelligent business solutions for the service industry.
Scott grew up working in the service industry doing jobs ranging from delivering RV’s to selling and applying pest control products. His pattern of working in the service industry continued as he attended Brigham Young University’s Marriott School of Management, where he received a bachelor’s degree majoring in Information Systems Management. His passion is using technology to increase efficiency.
Angela Thompson – Client Services
Angela is the former director of training for a leading provider of community-focused services and online personals. She serves as our instruction designer and client services specialist. Her responsibilities include creating engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer. She is instrumental in creating instructional end goals and content that matches them. She works to provide excellent customer service through phone and/or email support, in a timely and efficient manner to our clients. She also serves as liaison between the customer support team, management and our clients to improve customer service and business productivity. Angela has extensive experience developing training materials and processes. She excels at providing exercises and activities that enhance the learning process and create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc).
Tyler Christensen – IT Manager
In his role as IT Manager, Tyler manages the call center phone system, including managing and assigning phone numbers to different franchises. Tyler also troubleshoots websites and manages email domains and account creation. Prior to joining ProNexis, Tyler worked as a Computer Support Representative at Brigham Young University’s Marriott School of Business, helping troubleshoot computer problems and documenting steps taken to resolve IT problems. Tyler also has experience as a Programmer at BYU’s Marriott School of Business, where he developed a website for a professor.
Nick Nielson – UI/UX Designer & Website Administrator
With a background in design, Nick is integral in the design and development of ProNexis’s web and print needs, including corporate and client websites, ads, flyers, and mail pieces. Aside from fulfilling the design needs of the company, Nick manages the purchasing, creation and management of company and client websites.
